Early in 2007 the Dallas, Texas authorities put a stop to an illegal poker game that was put on by the Veterans of Foreign (VAF) Wars Post number 1837. Now at first you might think , “Good job, Dallas! What were the Veterans of Foreign Wars members doing running an illegal poker game?” Now run that through your head again, what were the VAF members doing running a poker game? The answer, is of course raising money for charity. They have been doing it for years. The Poker Players Alliance (PPA) cite Dalllas as the 34th most dangerous city in America, and think the police might be avoiding real work for easy targets.
