alas my trouble shooting revealed that the problem was indeed with the word press skin Andyblue 1.3! its so sad too, because i loved the layout and the simplicity of the thing (in fact i originally refused to consider it a possible culprit). however i cant have the skin causing load times of my posts that are over 2 minutes.

sorry to Dean’s Permalinks Migration for the original accusation. i have re-enabled it on my site.

also i will report if i have any trouble with any other skin.

well turning off the Dean’s Permalinks Migration did not solve the problem, so i am changing the skin of my blog back to what it was.

after implementing Dean’s Permalinks Migration 1.0 (With this plugin, you can safely change your permalink structure without breaking the old links to your website,and even doesn’t hurt your google pagerank. By Dean Lee) i have been having terribly long load times with recent posts. i have turned it off, and now i will see what happens. just as a side note the other possibility could be with the profile itself, but why have the old posts not been affected? oh well let the test begin.

I find myself with a quandary on my hands… I have a great desire to start another business, but I am faced with a really compelling reason not to try my idea. Financing!!! If I get the regular 9-5 job, in a matter of 6 months I can find myself in a position to buy a house here in Sacramento California. If I decide to start my own company, I could create yet another successful company. The down side is, if I succeed at creating another successful company, I will have to buy my house in cash or have about 2 years of history to convince a bank I deserve financing (IE that my company is not going to fail). What to do, what to do? I ask anyone reading this page to give me their opinion. Freedom to be my own boss, or to buy a house?
